Made this for my boss Bob for his birthday. I’m pretty sure Golden Girls is his favorite show. He watches it every night at work and I’ve probably heard him sing the theme song more times than I can count. Happy birthday Bob. Stay Golden.
So I’ve got comics drawn for the days I’ve missed, but we just set up our new computer and I’m working out some kinks with the newer versions of software we’ve installed. And by kinks I mean serial numbers. And by working out I mean finding them. Hopefully it’ll be taken care of by the end of the week.
Sara and I saw Step Brothers the other night and it’s pretty awesome. Sara said she might need to see it again to fully appreciate it, but I thought it was really funny. All the shit talking back and forth to their parents made me laugh so hard. It’s got to be so much fun to work on the set of a movie like that, with all the constant ad-libbing and physical comedy. One of these days I’ll get out of this small town and run away to Hollywood to work in the pictures. One day.
What’s that? EHSO will update every day of the week? From now until forever? That’s just crazy talk. NO. IT ISN’T. Every night I’ll be drawing a comic for EHSO based on the days events.
For the record, I would like Sara’s poor form to be noted here. She isn’t even around today. Granted I didn’t tell her I was starting it daily today, it’s poor form none-the-less. So since O’Reilly’s more or less the catalyst for comedy around here today was pretty boring. Hence me doing nothing but watching Battlestar Galactica on the couch.
I (Erik) have not been drawing anything for a while because I’m working on a bunch of other stuff, but by the end of April I hope to start updating once a week, with Sara also updating (hopefully) as often as I do.
Here is a gander at one of the things that’s been keeping me occupied. It’s an animated music video for Moe Pope. His albums coming out in May, you should check it out.
